Class Rules

Class Rules and Expectations

  • Come prepared each day with books, notebook, pens, pencils, and homework. 
  • Be respectful to your teachers and classmates and all property that is not your own.  
  • Be kind and include all classmates in activities. If during group activities there is an extra person or someone who doesn't have a group, invite them to yours. Treat others as you would want to be treated! 
  • Be on time. When the bell rings, have everything ready to begin class.
  • Complete your daily Write Stuff! activity as soon as you sit down.
  • Do NOT talk while I am talking! I will not stand and lecture you for the entire period. If I am speaking, Don't make me repeat directions because you were busy talking.
  • Do not yell out, use inappropriate language or discuss inappropriate topics. If you choose to do so, you will be asked to let Mr. Newman, Mr. Bryant or Ms. Conklin know what you were talking about in my classroom.
  • Do NOT chew gum or eat candy in class. It is an

  • Come to class with a positive attitude and high expectations. I will do the same.

NOTE:

Plagiarism is the act of passing off another person's  work as your own. It is stealing!  When using the Internet for research, students may NOT copy/paste information from websites. If you plagiarize you will receive a zero and appropriate measures will be taken.
